Aks Foundation was started in 2008 and is a registered NGO under the Societies Registration Act 1860 (Central) and under the Maharashtra Public Trusts Act 1950. Though primarily a Pune centric organization working in the area of gender based violence, domestic violence and sexual assault, Aks Foundation provides support to victims, from all over the country.
